Hour of Code
The 7th-13th December was Computer Science Week. Computer Science develops children's creativity, logical reasoning and problem solving skills. Coding is one of the elements of the new Computing Curriculum in England for primary and secondary school children. Coding means giving a computer a set of step by step instructions or commands to make it do something. All children on both sites took part in the event and enjoyed coding activities based on popular topics such as Minecraft, Frozen and Star Wars. They had great fun and this helped to build their confidence and develop their understanding of the language of code.
