During Science Week, we carried out an investigation to find out which type of “beak” was best suited to its environment. To make it a fair test, we only changed one variable, the type of beak, while keeping everything else the same.
We used tools like tweezers, pegs and chopsticks to represent different beaks and tested how much “food” each could pick up. We discovered that the peg was the most effective, picking up the most food in one minute!
