Our Year 5 and 6 children have been enjoying their time in the Quilting Club, where they've been learning traditional hand-sewing skills such as the running stitch, back stitch, and invisible stitch. Using their new techniques, the children have created beautiful little pin cushions to take home - each one unique and full of personality!
The sessions have been a wonderful opportunity for pupils to relax, focus, and express their creativity. Many have shared how calming and enjoyable they find sewing, proving to be both therapeutic and beneficial for their mental wellbeing.
