Soup making review
Making the soup was really fun and entertaining. We learned how to safely cut carrots, parsnips, onions and potatoes. We also created safety posters to show how to handle meat and fish properly, as well as how to use a cutting board carefully and with caution. Most of our classmates left compassionate reviews, saying that the soup was really delicious. However, some people did not enjoy it as much as others and gave less positive comments.
Firstly, we peeled the potatoes, parsnips and carrots and then chopped them into neat, miniature pieces. After that, the teachers kindly put the vegetables into a pan of hot water as carefully as possible. Within a few minutes, we had finished preparing the soup! We then had to leave the pan for approximately two hours until it was completely ready, which felt sooo long.
