Every year the children really look forward to a visit to our local old people’s home, Wemyss Lodge. The residents were entertained by the chaplains reading them Christmas cards made by all the children of Holy Cross and by listening to some of our favourite Christmas songs. The chaplains had the pleasure of talking to some of the residents and learning about their interesting lives when they were young. We believe this is an excellent way to link with our wider community and spread the Christmas joy.
