Maths Week in Year 6
Teams of children used a coordinates to locate questions around the school.  They solved word problems involving area and perimeter.
 
 
 
Pattern spotting work where children made observations of patterns in a stain glass window and were asked how many of each colour would be needed if the pattern had 22 panels?  They also completed a problem solving activity where they had a circle with 9 dots around the circumference and they needed to draw as many different triangles as they could, by joining any three of the dots on the edge.
