With bated breath, the children ventured inside the tomb but the clock was ticking as deadly gases permitted them only a fleeting 10 seconds within. Excitement and curiosity swelled as each chid glimpsed the enigmatic artefacts that had been laid to rest alongside the young and wealthy pharaoh. They couldn't help but wonder why these treasures were buried, believing it to be the secret to a rich afterlife. The year 3 pupils left this remarkable adventure with a deeper understanding of history and the memory of Tutankhamun’s tomb will forever be etched in their minds.
