Year 3

Mrs Milson & Mr Forrester welcome you to the Year 3 page. Here you can see examples of the children's work, see what they are learning about his term and see photographs of your child at work.

Willow Class (Year 3) enjoyed a great day out at Avebury on Thursday 7th June 2018. They discovered lots of facts about the Stone Age and saw the original artefacts from that period of History. The children explored the stones and heard stories about how they got their names. The children were a real credit to Holy Cross and their behaviour was exemplary. The guides were very impressed with their knowledge on the day. A very enjoyable day was had by all.

Willow class performed their class assembly on Friday May 18th. The theme of the assembly was Pentecost. The children explained about the symbols of Fire and Wind and informed the rest of the school about the discovery, benefits and safety ideas linked to Fire. The children presented the story of Pentecost and considered its importance. The children did a fantastic job. Well done Willow class!
